The present book looks at Gender and Space with a multidisciplinary perspective (which may allow scholars to connect the ideas and concepts across different disciplines). Issues have been looked at from different perspectives to reach a new understanding of complex situations. The idea of gender and space and gendered spaces has been debated upon by scholars from diverse disciplines ranging from social sciences, law, languages and even pure
sciences. Each discipline brought its unique understanding to the subject. This was both a challenge as well as a great learning experience.
