Farmers Needs from Agricultural Extension System

This book would certainly assume great significance in providing feedback to farmers as well as in creating database to policy makers, line department officials, and researchers for realistic planning and implementation of future course of actions for ‘need-based’ agricultural extension system in the state of Maharashtra. It would provide impetus to the approach moving from top-to-bottom to bottom-up approach of agricultural extension system with full insight information regarding actual information needs of the farmers in changing agricultural scenario.It would also guide readers in deriving insight in understanding many aspects relevant particularly to farmers’ information needs fulfilment and extent of their satisfaction level from the services provided to them by the agricultural extension system.
