Training is an intellectual investment for Human Resource Development (HRD). In the past, this vital area could not be utilized as much as required by the agricultural development system, perhaps by sheer ignorance and poor appreciation of its potential. The major problems stems from our reluctance to recognise training as an important sub-sector which makes value addition to human resources.
