Biometrical Genetics… A students’ guide

The present book does not aim at covering the whole literature of the subject. Rather we focused on the basic concepts, formulas and an analytical approach that serve as the guiding principle in building a sound foundation of Biometrical genetics so that students can excel in various competitive exams. We have presented information that may be already available earlier books. However, we have sought new illustrative pattern for presentation of important concepts in tabular form as well as in form of points to remember. No doubt, we have also taken the opportunity to cover the sectional syllabus of ICAR- SRF, ARS and other competitive exams in Plant sciences and attempted to cover all relevant areas of Biometrical genetics. In last, we must extend our sincere thanks to our BiometricianGurus who inspired and paved the way for preparation of this short and comprehensive book which takes almost half a decade.
